		<description>Thanks, Rich, for the thoughtful post. I agree, sustainability must be embedded in marketing. But as long as it isn&#039;t, and it&#039;ll take a while until it is, sustainable marketing will have its place. 

With my company and on my Sustainable Marketing Blog, I&#039;ve attempted to define sustainable marketing as marketing sustainably and for the triple-bottom line. By marketing sustainably I mean marketing to achieve financial goals (marketing for prosperity), with zero or even positive environmental impact (marketing for planet), and with the view of community-building (marketing for people). By marketing for the triple-bottom line I mean marketing for sustainable organizations.</description>
